As we welcome the arrival of fall, I’d like to express my gratitude and appreciation for you. This October marks the one-year anniversary of my role as President and CEO of our credit union, and the journey thus far has been rewarding.

Over the past year, our dedicated team has demonstrated a strong commitment to our values of integrity, care, growth and innovation in everything they do. We have always provided great member service and have been proud to stand apart in this way. Now, we’re placing an even greater focus on expanding our product offerings, enhancing your overall experience through member-friendly improvements, and delivering even more value to our communities. I’m proud to report that our efforts have proven effective, reinforcing the strength of Gulf Winds.

Our expanded range of deposit products includes the introduction of money markets for both personal and business accounts as well as a variety of CD specials. Our investment in digital banking improvements continues with updates designed to keep your account information safe while maintaining a simple banking experience. And giving back to our communities and members will forever remain at the heart of what we do. This past year our team has volunteered with numerous organizations including Manna Food Pantries, Ronald McDonald House, the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, the Brewton YMCA, America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend, and many more. This participation helps to drive meaningful change and is tied together by a common thread — to help make financial lives better.

I am filled with optimism about the direction of Gulf Winds. As we approach the close of this year, my sincere hope is that you’ll continue to engage with us, share your valuable feedback and actively participate in our vibrant community.
