Florida’s Tax Holiday Starts Friday
Florida's "Freedom Week" tax holiday begins Friday, July 1 and ends Thursday, July 7. During this time, sales tax will not be charged on a number of recreational activites and outdoor items. The tax package was signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis on May 6, describing the tax holiday as a way that, "families can afford a fun summer." Here are all the things you can purchase with a tax break, including supplies for boating and water activities, camping and fishing gear, general outdoor items, and admissions to events!
